Oldbury on Severn is a very pretty village nestling on the original banks of the river Severn. The Anchor Inn is an old stone built, traditional village pub in a picturesque setting opposite the banks of the river Severn.
In summer, you can sit out in the pretty gardens when the well stocked borders, the hanging baskets and window boxes are at their best.

Our Pub
There are plenty of interesting walks and with excellent pub food and refreshing drinks it makes a great day out. Follow the stream down to the banks of the river or stroll up the hill to visit St. Arildas Church from where you can see a large stretch of the river plus the old and new Severn bridges.
The comfortably furnished lounge and bar have beams, stone walls and plenty of real pub atmosphere. There is an open log fire in the winter months and a warm welcome from the friendly staff all year round.
Disabled toilets and baby changing facilities as well.
There is ample parking in two car parks for about 60 cars.
